RecordBeacon is built by Scalable Technology Solutions LLC. This page describes what this website collects and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and none of it is sold or shared for advertising.

The free trial form

If you request a trial, we collect the name, firm, email address, and note you type. We use it to reply to you and set up your workspace. It is stored in our systems and is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.

The free Bates stamper

Files you add to the Bates stamper are processed entirely in your browser and never leave your computer. That page blocks outbound network connections, so we could not see your documents even if we wanted to. We do not collect anything about how you use the tool.

Analytics

We measure page visits with PostHog, configured without cookies and without session recording. Nothing is stored on your device, which is why this site has no cookie banner. We see counts of visits and which pages were viewed, not who you are.

Advertising measurement

If you arrive from an ad and request a trial, the confirmation page may report that a conversion happened to the advertising platform that showed you the ad. That tells the platform an ad worked. It does not include the contents of your form submission.

Customer documents

This section is about the product itself, for the avoidance of doubt: documents processed inside RecordBeacon workspaces are never used to train AI models, are processed under zero data retention agreements with our AI provider, and stay in United States regions. When a trial ends without a purchase, the workspace and everything in it are deleted.
